Zach Bradford, PhD, LMFT-S, LPC

About Your Therapist

Zach brings a PhD in marriage and family therapy, years of experience with students and families, and a style that is both direct and adaptable. He pays attention to what will help someone engage, whether that means talking things through, getting parents involved, moving around, using a game, or simply giving the room enough time to settle. He wants therapy to feel useful. The goal is not to keep people in counseling indefinitely, but to help them understand what is happening, make progress, and work toward a point where they no longer need him.Zach is licensed in Texas as a Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor and Licensed Professional Counselor. His background also includes years of work with students and families, training in EMDR, and certification as a Prepare/Enrich facilitator.Below, you’ll find a closer look at the areas Zach works in most often, including child and teen therapy, parent and family support, couples therapy, trauma and EMDR, and work with court-involved families.

Child, Teens & Family Support

Help your kid—in and out of the therapy office

Zach works with children and teens without shutting parents out of the process. He helps kids open up, calm down, and understand what is underneath the behavior, while helping parents work through boundaries, discipline, consequences, and the patterns that keep setting everyone off.

Couples Therapy, Divorce & Court-Involved Family Support

When relationships get complicated

Zach works with couples dealing with conflict, communication breakdown, infidelity, and the question of what comes next. He also helps families navigate divorce and court involvement when a child is caught in the tug-of-war between parents, trust has broken down, or everyone is trying to win.

EMDR & Trauma Therapy in Bryan–College Station

Practical tools for processing trauma

EMDR therapy helps you process difficult experiences that are still affecting your sleep, anxiety, relationships, or ability to function. EMDR therapy helps to reduce the hold those experiences have on daily life so you can feel more like yourself again.

For Second Chances

I don’t believe you’re too far gone, and I don’t believe the hardest part of your story gets the final say. Therapy can help you understand what’s happening, work through what’s keeping you stuck, and make room for real change for the better. You do not have to commit to therapy forever. Start with one session, see whether you get something out of it, and we can work toward a clear finish line from there.Reach out to get started.
